Intensive Care Unit (ICU)


The new 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), located on the second floor, is a specialized area of the hospital designed to provide patients with maximum medical attention, intensive nursing care and around-the-clock observation. The Intensive Care Unit offers specialized equipment, a team of highly experienced professionals and a controlled environment providing the extra care patients in this unit need. The 16-bed unit is housed in two eight-bed pods to allow our staff to be in constant visual contact with our ICU patients. For the first time, our new ICU includes centralized power columns in each patient room. These columns house all gases, electrical and monitoring equipment needed for the ICU staff to rapidly respond to a patient's changing needs.
